Our Third Annual Matchbook Story Contest is Now Open!

Submit Your 2019 Matchbook Story Contest Here Before November 15th!!!

Calling all writers! We’re taking submissions for our 3rd annual Matchbook Story Contest! Stories must be about 50 words or less—short enough to fit on the inside of a matchbook cover. The winner will receive a $50 Gift Card to the Library Shop, 50 copies of the printed matchbook, publication in the SDPL e-newsletter, and a limited exhibition of your Matchbook Story in the Hervey Family Rare Book Room.
